Scan supports a wide range of modern ultrasonic and eddy current instruments, as well as legacy instruments with analog output. Use Scan on its own for manual and semi-automated inspections, or in fully automated mode with IW© Automate coordinating the process.

Ray Tracing for Focal Laws and Inspection Setup

Build phased array focal laws and inspection setups visually, and see beam paths and coverage on the part before you scan. Setups can be saved, reused, and downloaded to the instrument of your choice, and Scan handles translating the parameters between different devices.

Customizable Views

Arrange the screen to show the data you need during an inspection, such as A-scans, C-scans, or eddy current signals, and save layouts for different parts and procedures.

Built-in Calibration Tools

Set up and calibrate your system in Scan with built-in tools for sensitivity, linearity, velocity, and delay calibration, along with array normalization, gain balancing, and TVG setup. Scan automatically generates a calibration report, so every setup is documented without extra paperwork.
