During the following tests, InspectionWare will increase the waterpath of one of the dimensional measurement transducers by backing it away from the tube at the rate of 10 microns per second.

The resulting waterpath measurement is presented on a stripchart.

The tests are intended to help visualize the dimensinal resolution limits of a time of flight measurement using a 100 MS/s digitizer.

It will also show how resolution can be improved with interpolation.

Two tests will be performed:

Test 1 - a 100 MS/s signal with basic TOF distance measurement
Test 2 - a 100 MS/s signal with TOF Peak Interpolation
